Esh Circus Arts

Our two studios, Main Studio and Small Studio, have some differences in access and parking. Find the info about this here!

Parking:
Parking is available in the lot located behind the studio. Additional parking is available on Beacon St. (up to 2 hours) and Somerville Ave. (up to 2 hours).

Transit:
The nearest T stations are Porter Square on the Red Line and Union Square on the Green Line. Both stations are 0.9 miles from the Main Studio. The 83 and 87 bus lines run very near the studio.

Accessibility Notes:
Esh Circus Arts is wheelchair accessible via a ramp that leads from the sidewalk to the front door. There are no stairs internal to the building. The studio has three ADA-compliant individual use bathrooms. Please contact us at info@eshcircusarts.com with any questions about accessibility.

Parking:
Ample street parking is available on Joy Street, which is a 3 minute walk from the studio. There is limited 2-hour parking available on Alston Street directly in front of the studio, but it is often full.

Transit:
The Small Studio is steps from the route 80, 88, and 90 bus stop at McGrath Hwy & Alston St, and a 3 minute walk from the East Somerville Green Line T stop.

Accessibility Notes:
There is a step up from the sidewalk to access the Small Studio. There are no stairs interior to the building.

Esh is located on the traditional land of the Massachusett Tribe. We would like to acknowledge the Massachusett Tribe, the tribe of indigenous peoples from whom the Colony, Province and Commonwealth of Massachusetts have taken their name. We would like to pay our respect to the ancestral bloodline of the Massachusett Tribe and their descendants who still inhabit historical Massachusett Tribe territories to this day. Thank you to the Massachusett Tribe at Ponkapoag for their guidance in writing this land acknowledgment.
