Sarah Selby

After dancing and tumbling throughout her childhood, Sarah fell in love with the magic of circus after seeing a Circus Smirkus big top tour show. The next year she ran away to their circus summer camp, and her own circus journey began! After growing up as a camper, Sarah went on to work for Smirkus, eventually as the Program Director, a role in which she spent her days alternating between running the camp and running around playing circus games. Sarah has brought her lifelong love of circus and circus learning to her role as Senior Coach in the youth program at Esh.

Sarah is constantly inspired watching kids learn circus, and loves having the opportunity to support their creativity, dedication, and play as a teacher. Outside of her work in circus, she enjoys creating, both with her hands as a visual artist and on the computer as a designer.
