Hello Esh community! An update on the how and when of Esh reopening: On Monday May 18th, Governor Baker announced the plan for reopening the Massachusetts economy. The plan involves 4 phases. Each phase is a minimum of three weeks, but may take longer depending on the data related to COVID-19 in our state. Esh is in phase 2 or 3 depending on the type of programming we offer, but is definitely not in phase 1. This means that Esh will open no earlier than mid-late June, and quite possibly later. It is also possible that we’ll be open for some programming before we’re open for other types of programming – for example, private lessons might start up before group classes. We’ll know more in the next couple of weeks.
In addition to following state guidance, we will be making our own decisions about what is best for our staff and community when it comes to opening our doors again. Over the next few weeks we will be releasing the details of our COVID response plan, and will continue to provide details about our reopening timeline.
In the meantime, we hope you’re all safe and healthy, and we miss you a ton!
While our studio is closed, please join us for online classes!
You do not need to be a current student to sign up for online classes! These classes are open to all.
Additionally, many of you have reached out to ask about donating to help support our staff during this time. Esh is committed to supporting our staff to the best of our ability while we’re closed. This includes continuing to pay those staff members who depend upon Esh for a significant portion of their livelihood through at least the month of April. We also have ongoing operating expenses, including rent and insurance. If you would like to help, please click the button below – any amount helps, and you have our gratitude for helping us support our amazing staff and keep our business alive during this precarious time.
